Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher credential for California (mild/moderate or moderate/severe)
Experience working with students requiring extensive support, including moderate to severe disabilities
Strong background in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
In-depth knowledge of positive behavioral supports and inclusive instructional strategies

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs for students with significant support needs
Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes skill development and social-emotional growth
Collaborate closely with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
Adjust instructional strategies to meet each student’s individual learning and behavioral requirements
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and district-wide professional development
