Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Los Angeles office. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity to work with a nationally recognized practice group representing clients across a range of industries. Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Practice Group: Labor & Employment
Experience Required: 2–6 years
Salary Range: $225,000 – $365,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:

Represent employers in litigation and counseling on matters including wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leave and accommodation issues, employment agreements, and personnel policies.

Handle both class action and individual claims, including wage and hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims.

Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery.

Provide strategic legal advice to clients and manage client relationships.

Collaborate with partners and team members on sophisticated employment law matters.
Qualifications:

2–6 years of experience in labor and employment law.

Strong experience handling wage & hour class action and PAGA matters required.

Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and initiative to take ownership of work.

Strong academic credentials and law school transcript with class rank required.

Admitted to the California Bar or eligible for admission.
