Job Description
Well-established collaborative California law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney with 1–4 years of experience to join its growing practice.
Draft and analyze estate planning documents, including:
- Trusts
- Wills
- Powers of Attorney
- Advance Health Care Directives
- Deeds
Research, analyze, and advise on:
- Federal estate tax laws
- California estate planning matters
Draft documents related to trust and estate administration
- Prepare federal gift and estate tax returns
- Prepare court petitions for trust and probate matters (non-adversarial)
- Attend probate and trust hearings (non-adversarial matters)
- Research and prepare memoranda on new legislation affecting estate planning and taxation
Qualifications:
- 1–4 years of estate planning experience
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Interest in building a long-term estate planning practice
