Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with strong Mastercam programming experience and hands-on experience operating 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines. This role is ideal for a machinist who thrives on complex parts, tight tolerances, and working with a variety of materials, including exotic alloys.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate 4-axis and 5-axis CNC mills

Program using Mastercam (create, edit, and optimize toolpaths)

Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings

Machine tight-tolerance precision components

Work with materials including aluminum, stainless steel, copper, plastics, and exotic alloys (Inconel, Invar, etc.)

Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet AS9100 standards

Support prototype and production runs
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of CNC machining experience

Strong Mastercam programming experience

Hands-on 4-axis and 5-axis machining experience

Ability to set up jobs independently

Experience holding tight tolerances

Strong understanding of GD&T

Experience working in a quality-driven manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing

Familiarity with AS9100 environments

Experience with CMM inspection processes

Background in machining exotic materials
