Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. This role involves providing in-person services with teletherapy options considered, focusing on telespeech and teletherapy delivery models. Assignments include up to two schools serving a caseload of approximately 43 students.
Key responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy aligned with individual student needs, collaborating with educational staff, and adhering to district supervision protocols. Supervision will be provided by qualified personnel such as a paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Current SLP or SLPA license valid for school settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred for SLP candidates
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads and serving TK-8 student populations
- Ability to comply with fingerprinting and onboarding requirements prior to start
This position offers flexibility with teletherapy options while prioritizing in-person engagement. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom on a panel or casual basis, and the district aims to make decisions promptly after interviews.
