The Material Handler plays a vital role in managing the efficient and accurate movement, storage, and distribution of materials within a warehouse or production facility. This role ensures that workflow is maintained by supporting inventory control and assisting other team members with material-related tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials and shipments
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
- Prepare and stage materials for production or shipment
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels
- Assist with physical inventory counts and audits
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
