Job DescriptionPower Solutions Group, a business unit of Amphenol, is the market leader for power electrical connectors and cables forthe Telecom/Datacom Market serving (Storage, Servers, Networks, etc.). We are currently seeking Project ManagerCustomer Programs to join our team located in the United States. This role will report directly to the Product MarketingManager in Power Solutions Business Unit.RESPONSIBILITIES:NPI Manager to assume overall responsibility for all activities related to the smooth, efficient and successful launch of newproducts for the Power Solutions business, including prototype/initial builds, documentation required for appropriateprocesses, fixtures and tooling, final package for test engineering, and introduction into manufacturing.
- Project Coordination & Cross-Functional Liaison
- Act as the primary liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Site Operations, and other internalteams to ensure alignment across all phases of front-end customer projects.
- Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to drive clarity on scope, timelines, and deliverables.?
- Customer Program Support
- Support key customer initiatives in the Datacom segment by managing timelines, deliverables, andcommunication flow.
- Serve as a point of contact for updates and responses related to customer-facing programs and technicalengagements.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) Enablement
- Coordinate prototype builds and documentation required for NPI success.
- Ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing, with clear oversight of tooling, test, and productionramp-up activities.
- Program Planning & Execution
- Maintain project plans with defined milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Track progress against goals, identify bottlenecks, and proactively escalate issues to maintain momentum.
- Operational Readiness
- Ensure manufacturing and supply chain readiness by coordinating with site teams.
- Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and launch coordination.
- Coordinate and transfer/transition manufacturing processes to production factories in Asia/North America
- Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate risks early using structured tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams to develop contingency plans that keep programs on track.
- Communication & Reporting
- Provide consistent and clear communication on program status, risks, and needs to stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive regular updates and alignment meetings between teams to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Fluent in English, bilingual candidates fluent in Mandarin a plus
- Experience in connector industry, some knowledge of server/storage/networking/data center rack level architecturespreferred.
- Career progression from new product design/development engineering into manufacturing and NPI management ispreferred.
- Exceptional organization, creativity, adaptability, and strong project management to in a rapidly changing, multitasking environment.
- Good communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, GANTT chartsetc.), the ability to integrate with cross functional teams globally and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to get thejob done
