Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Occupational Therapy license issued by the state
- Previous experience in schools or pediatrics is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to foster success in academic and functional skills
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
