Job DescriptionMinimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Overview: Paraprofessional (AM/PM Program)

The Vista Unified School District is seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional's to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs within a school-based setting.

Location: Vista Unified School District – Vista, CA

Position Type: Full-Time (30 hours/week)

AM Hours: 6:30 AM- 8:00 AM

PM Hours: 1:18 PM/2:18 PM-6:00 PM

Caseloads: Opportunities K-12th

Compensation: $24.43

Contract Duration: August 2026 – June 2027

Requirements:

-1+ years of professional experience working with the special education population and an updated resume to reflect this experience

-Comfortable working with students on the spectrum with Autism, non-verbal, minor aggression, and toileting if needed

-The ability to complete and pass a Drug Screen, Background Check, and TB Test
