Job Requirements:Requirements
•Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
•Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a diesel mechanic and/or lead fleet technician.
•Experience leading, coaching, and managing a private fleet maintenance program.
•Preventative Maintenance certification required and must be updated annually.
•Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections.
•High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
•Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
•Candidate must provide his/her own tools.
•Potential of some commute and work in mobile shop locations (no road side) to satellite locations in personal and/or company vehicle.
•A valid CDL (Commercial Drivers' License) driver's license that has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years.
Job Description:Responsibilities
•On-boarding, training, mentoring, and leading the region fleet technician team.
•Create and maintain weekly fleet technician work schedules. Cover vacation, sick days, etc.
•Review and manage work orders and delegate technicians.
•Coach and assist technicians to interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals.
•Perform quality inspections at region locations and provide technician coaching as required.
•Assist technicians with diagnosis of mechanical issues as needed.
•Analyze asset management reports; work with management to maintain optimal capacity.
•Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
•Assist management with special projects, analysis, technician scoping, asset management, etc.
•Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and cost analytics.Wage Range: $47.80 per hour - $47.81 per hour Hourly USDGeneral Description of Benefits: Benefits - Eligibility starts on FIRST DAY OF WORK!
