An Automotive Technician skilled in diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles. This role requires expertise with standard and advanced diagnostic tools to perform engine repairs, brake servicing, electrical system maintenance, and thorough safety inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics using OBD-II scanners and advanced computer systems
- Perform engine repairs and maintenance on various vehicle types
- Service and repair brake systems to ensure safety and reliability
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in vehicles
- Implement preventative maintenance routines to reduce breakdowns
- Carry out comprehensive safety inspections in compliance with standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in automotive repair
- Valid driver’s license
