Overview
A growing multi-state law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Roseville office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys litigation, values collaboration, and wants to work on a broad range of civil, business, and construction-related disputes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in case strategy, legal research, drafting, and client representation while working closely with experienced litigators on complex matters.
What You Will Be Doing
- Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Represent clients in construction defect and business litigation disputes
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Participate in depositions, mediations, settlement discussions, and court proceedings
- Manage client communications and provide strategic legal guidance
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve successful outcomes
- Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines
What You Will Need
- 5–10 years of civil litigation experience
- Experience handling business litigation matters
- Experience with construction defect litigation
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and case management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Active California Bar license and good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Nevada Bar license
- Texas Bar license
- Experience with transactional business matters
- Trial, arbitration, or mediation experience
