Salary: $130,000 – $185,000/year

Overview

A growing multi-state law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Roseville office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys litigation, values collaboration, and wants to work on a broad range of civil, business, and construction-related disputes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in case strategy, legal research, drafting, and client representation while working closely with experienced litigators on complex matters.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Represent clients in construction defect and business litigation disputes
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, settlement discussions, and court proceedings
  • Manage client communications and provide strategic legal guidance
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve successful outcomes
  • Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines

What You Will Need

  • 5–10 years of civil litigation experience
  • Experience handling business litigation matters
  • Experience with construction defect litigation
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and case management abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Active California Bar license and good standing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nevada Bar license
  • Texas Bar license
  • Experience with transactional business matters
  • Trial, arbitration, or mediation experience
