Job Description

Job Description

A family-owned and operated Mobile Window & Door Screen company of 10 years in North County San Diego.

We are looking for a new Installer/Field Technician to join our team. We install security screens, retractable screen doors, sliding and swinging screen doors, window screens, motorized shades, and large opening screens. We pride ourselves in offering personalized customer service, treating our clients like friends and family.

As an Installer/Field Technician, you'll be responsible for driving our 14 foot U-Haul box truck (which is a fully outfitted mobile workstation) to customers' homes in the central San Diego and North County region (we rarely work in South Bay or East County). You will greet customers, measure windows and sliding screen doors, cut aluminum materials with a 10" chop saw, assemble new screens and doors, install them, provide invoices, and collect payments. Each day, you'll typically visit 3-5 homes.

To thrive in this role, you should have handyman skills with a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, comfort using a 10" aluminum cutting chop saw, know how to use a tape measure, have a polite and professional demeanor, a valid California driver's license, and experience driving a truck. You should be comfortable meeting and speaking with homeowners, working curbside in our mobile workstation, carrying tools and a step ladder, and doing hands-on work.

**We also pay bonues and additional earnings for revenue sharing**

We offer a minimum 30-day trial period to ensure a good fit, with training provided by the owner and our lead installer. We have 2 options for employment and will discuss which option fits you best:

1. Full Time Employee: Paycheck issued weekly, standard payroll and income taxes withheld. Option to enroll in CalSavers IRA.

2. Independent Contractor: If both parties agree to continue, a 6-month independent contractor agreement will be signed. During training, you'll be paid between $20 - $30 per hour (depending on experience) per week. After training you will work as an Indepenent Contractor and the rules that apply to that role.

Additional benefits include:

* As an Independent Contractor, you set your own work hours.

* During the busy season you can work more than 40 hours per week and weekends if desired.

* Set your own hours each week. We set customer appointments for you between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

* Bonuses for exceeding minimum job quotas and for booking additional jobs.

If interested, send an email explaining your experience (if you do not have a resume) or send your resume to this posting.

Thank you,

Breeze Screens
