Job DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is a unique, flexible opportunity for an educator who is passionate about helping students develop functional life skills and achieve meaningful progress through individualized instruction.

Special Education Teacher Job Description:

Homebound Instruction – 7th Grade Student

• Provide individualized instruction to a middle school student receiving homebound educational services.
• Focus on functional academics, independent living skills, and individualized educational goals.
• Adapt instruction and learning activities to align with the student's unique strengths, needs, and IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation as required.
• Collaborate with the student's educational team and family to support ongoing success.

Requirements:

• Active California Education Specialist Credential – Extensive Support Needs (ESN) / Moderate/Severe
• Experience supporting students with significant disabilities and functional skill development preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and progress-monitoring skills

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-Time
• Approximately 1.5 hours per week
• Monday–Friday scheduling flexibility
• Up to $150 per hour
