\nThe Opportunity\n
\n
\nFSWM is seeking an experienced salesperson to take over the Northern California market. This person will inherit a territory currently consisting of exclusively high-quality on- and off-premise accounts, with total access to the broader Northern California market. When called upon, they will report to Fleet Street's VP of California Sales (based in LA) and Sales Director (based in NY).\n

\nResponsibilities\n
\nALLService and build existing restaurant and retail accounts through regular visits and portfolio tastings\n
\nGenerate leads, cold-call and cold-walk, maintain a prospect pipeline, and acquire new business\n
\nMeet revenue and new-account targets\n
\n
\n
\nSkills & Qualifications\n
\n
\nExcellent presentation skills\n
\nWine fluency across European and American categories (see fleetstreetwine.com/producers)\n
\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently\n
\n5+ years of experience in wholesale wine distribution sales\n
\n
\n
\nCompensation\n
\n
\n$38,000–$75,000 guaranteed base (commensurate with experience), plus 5% commission for the first 6–12 months\n
\nAfter 6–12 months: 7.5% commission-only (with draw), plus a bonus based on company profitability\n
\nTravel and dining expenses paid (budget to be determined)\n
