Construction Project Manager - Healthcare

Job DescriptionJob Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee healthcare construction projects from planning through implementation

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously

• Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets

• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, healthcare authorities, stakeholders, and clients

• Manage project communication and coordination

• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors to obtain reasonable costs

• Review project costs and change orders

• Monitor project progress and deadlines

• Maintain high standards of workmanship

• Ensure construction follows approved plans and specifications

• Identify and resolve project issues

• Coordinate project activities from preconstruction through completion

Qualifications and Certifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction industry experience

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare construction project coordination experience

• Experience with healthcare construction projects valued at more than 8 million dollars

• Direct experience with HCAI construction and design processes required

• Design Build experience preferred

• Experience managing subcontractors and onsite personnel

• Strong project scheduling and budgeting experience

• Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications

• Strong contractor negotiation skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
