Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract role involves working with elementary students (K-6th grade) in an itinerant capacity, providing specialized instruction and support across two school sites—one at Twin Oaks Elementary and another to be determined. You'll bring your expertise in special education to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, helping each student grow and succeed.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Previous experience working with elementary school students is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the ability to implement them effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
- Adaptability for working at different school sites and travel within the district
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students, tailoring lesson plans to meet each child’s unique needs
- Provide direct instruction, small group support, and classroom interventions
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource for families, offering guidance and regular progress updates
- Foster a supportive atmosphere where all students feel valued and empowered
