General Responsibilities
- Perform installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of various electrical equipment and systems in commercial and industrial buildings and environments.

Key Tasks
- Completing installations, following manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Complete maintenance on electrical equipment
- Be able to read blue prints, and electrical drawings and install to NEC code as specified
Technical Skills
- Maintain accurate records on assignments
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment and tools
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Observe safety requirements and safe work practices and methods as required
- Ability to navigate and operate smart phones and company provided iPad.
Certifications & Licenses Required
- Valid State Certification Journeyman Electrician
- Valid class C California driver’s license, and good driving record
Work Environment
- Indoor, office environment and outdoor environment, with climate changes.
Physical Demands & Requirements
- Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
- Lift 50 pounds
- Good vision - corrected or uncorrected - in order to be aware of hazards and dangers found in the nature of the work
- Physical work is a primary part (80% of the job)
- Reliable means of transportation
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Performance of electrical duties in connection with a wide variety of building alterations, maintenance, and repair projects
- Installations and/or modifications of electrical systems for the purpose of provided upgraded electrical capabilities
- Installations, relocations, and maintenance of building wiring, circuits, switches, transformers, and controls
- Installations of necessary interior and exterior wiring for equipment and appliances such as computers, test and lab equipment, pumps, lighting, motors, and service disconnects
- Replace lighting, lamps, and ballasts
- Adjust, install, service, test, repair, and maintain electrical lighting, power, fixtures, meters, outlets, plugs, fans, outdoor lighting receptacles, and motion sensors
- Replaces defective equipment parts for the purpose of maintaining safe operations conditions; uses various testing equipment to locate problems and makes necessary adjustments
- Communicate effectively orally, in writing, and electronically
- Operate and maintain equipment such as company vehicles, lifts, forklifts, etc.; will use ladders
- Read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Compensation – What Earns What
$55– $60/hr
- Journeyman Electrician with 5 years experience
- Handles standard service calls and installations
- Understands troubleshooting and code requirements
- Completes work safely and maintains professionalism on-site
- Developing consistency in efficiency, communication, and documentation
- Assisting with project coordination and execution
$60 – $65/hr
- Journeyman Electrician with 8 years experience
- Independently manages service work and small projects from start to finish
- Strong troubleshooting and service skills
- Communicates clearly with clients, field teams, and office staff
- Works efficiently while maintaining quality and organization
- Identifies issues proactively and helps keep projects moving smoothly
$65 - $70/hr
- Journeyman Electrician with 10+ years experience
- Operates as a highly reliable electrical foreman with no oversight
- Handles complex troubleshooting, repairs, and field coordination confidently
- Consistently delivers high-quality work that passes inspection and meets company standards
- Supports field efficiency through strong communication and leadership
- Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and strong technical expertise
Compensation & Benefits
- $55– $70/hr base pay (DOE)
