Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a real impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract, full-time opportunity invites you to work with either Moderate/Moderate or Extensive Support Needs caseloads in a welcoming educational environment near Lower Lake, CA. You’ll play a crucial role, designing and implementing individualized learning plans that foster both academic and personal growth.

Qualifications:

Valid CTC Certification is required
Background in Special Education at the school level
Experience serving students with Moderate/Moderate or Extensive Support Needs is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and stakeholders
Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom community

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Adapt curriculum and tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state regulations
Foster a positive, structured, and accommodating classroom environment
