Kronos Consulting is seeking experienced aerospace manufacturing professionals to support a leading aerospace client in Torrance, CA. These roles support high-complexity aircraft components within a regulated manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. We are hiring for three distinct positions within Manufacturing Engineering and CNC Programming.
Pay Rate: $40–$50/hr (depending on experience)
Work Location: 100% Onsite – Aerospace Manufacturing Facility (Torrance, CA)
Manufacturing Engineer (Process / Production Support Focus)
Overview
This role focuses on supporting production operations through planning, process development, documentation, and manufacturing execution system updates.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience in aerospace or manufacturing production environment
- Strong understanding of machining and assembly operations
- Experience developing or updating work instructions and manufacturing plans
- Experience supporting First Article processes (FAI)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain manufacturing planning data and installation instructions
- Support production execution and shop floor coordination
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams
- Resolve production and producibility issues
- Ensure accuracy of BOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
- Support supplier and production data reviews
- Assist in tooling and process requirement definition
- Drive manufacturing issue resolution and continuous improvement
