A Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting patient care within Adult Day Care settings. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing CNA assists with daily living activities, ensures patient comfort, and promotes a safe, hygienic environment to enhance patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with hygiene and daily activities
- Support patient mobility and help prevent complications from immobility
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and care delivered
- Implement infection control and safety compliance protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Ensure a safe environment to minimize risks and promote patient well-being
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas in accordance with infection prevention and control standards.
- Ensures common areas remain clean, organized, and well-maintained each day to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in patient care

- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
