Paraprofessional — San Francisco, CA
Location: San Francisco, CA
Employment Type: Full-time school-year paraprofessional (hours per district schedule)
What you’ll do
- Work one-on-one and small-group with students across a range of ages and disability severities.
- Implement instruction and behavior supports under teacher/therapist direction.
- Assist with classroom management, data collection, and adapting materials.
- Support student access to curriculum, social skills development, and inclusion activities.
- Communicate observations and progress to teachers and case managers.
Must-have qualifications
- Experience working with students across the full range of caseload severities (mild to intensive), and multiple ages.
- Strong, practical classroom support and behavior-management skills.
- Ability to follow IEP goals and behavior plans precisely.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional; able to work in a fast-paced urban school setting.
- Clear TB test / health clearance and any required local background checks.

Compensation for this position ranges from $16.90 to $35.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
