We are seeking an experienced PCC Supervisor to oversee daily Cooler Receiving operations and ensure efficient inbound freight movement from our Produce Consolidation Centers (PCC). This leadership role is responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, food quality, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency while leading warehouse associates in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cooler receiving operations and inbound PCC freight.
- Monitor inbound loads and ensure timely arrivals.
- Perform and oversee quality inspections on incoming products.
- Coordinate freight operations while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
- Track inbound shipments and communicate delays or delivery updates.
- Audit incoming loads for accuracy and inventory integrity.
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse work areas.
- Lead daily shift startup meetings covering workload, expectations, and safety.
- Prepare and participate in shift turnover meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Oversee receiving, storage, and product put-away processes.
- Partner with Inventory Control to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate trailer movement with yard personnel and transportation teams.
- Investigate and assist in resolving customer shipment discrepancies.
- Reduce product damage through training and process improvements.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Administer performance reviews and corrective action when necessary.
- Monitor key performance indicators including fill rate, cost per case, on-time shipments, and safety metrics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Experience in wholesale distribution, produce, food manufacturing, or cold storage preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and GMP principles preferred.
- College coursework is a plus but not required with relevant experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work throughout a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions, including refrigerated environments.
