Physician – Occupational Medicine
Location: San Diego, CA
Overview:
Our practice is seeking a Physician to provide occupational health services in an outpatient clinical setting. Our role welcomes both new graduates and experienced physicians in a structured weekday-only schedule. Our position offers strong compensation, professional development support, and a collaborative clinical environment.
Position Offers:
- Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with no nights or weekends
- Competitive compensation: $250,000–$320,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-employment, periodic, and fitness-for-duty occupational health evaluations
- Diagnose and manage work-related injuries and occupational illnesses
- Oversee workers’ compensation cases including documentation and clinical management
- Develop and support workplace health, safety, and wellness initiatives
- Provide employee education on injury prevention and health maintenance
- Maintain accurate, compliant medical records and reporting standards
- Collaborate with employers, safety teams, and stakeholders for return-to-work planning
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical process initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in occupational medicine or workers’ compensation preferred
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently within a structured clinical setting
