Cabinet Assembler – Job Responsibilities
- Assemble wood cabinets, drawers, doors, and other cabinetry components according to blueprints and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, nail guns, drills, and measuring equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install hardware, including hinges, drawer slides, handles, and shelving.
- Measure, cut, and align cabinet components to ensure accurate assembly.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship before packaging.
- Sand, clean, and prepare cabinet surfaces as needed.
- Package and label completed cabinets for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and production standards.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse or manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous assembly, woodworking, carpentry, or cabinet manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tapes and basic blueprints.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
