A growing manufacturer of high-quality consumer products is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves close partnership with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Maintenance teams to improve manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, reduce costs, and support new product introductions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions, SOPs, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Monitor KPIs and manufacturing metrics to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Support production teams with troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues.
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce scrap and rework.
- Support new product introductions from prototype through production launch.
- Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and recommend process improvements.
- Develop production processes, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing documentation.
- Manage manufacturing engineering projects involving equipment improvements, process optimization, and operational enhancements.
- Maintain engineering records, process documentation, and project reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and production goals.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
- Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software preferred.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software preferred.
- Experience supporting assembly manufacturing, consumer products, automotive, RV, outdoor products, or related industries preferred.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
