We are an industrial repair shop located in Baldwin Park, in business for over 35 years with immediate openings for a machinist. Our company conducts industrial repairs in shop and in the field throughout Southern California as needed. We are looking for hardworking, experienced, self-motivated individuals to join our team!
Machinist Job Responsibilities:
- Operates conventional lathe and mills.
- Able to work off of verbal instructions or blueprints/samples.
- No CNC Machines - conventional machinist only.
- Primary work is on industrial machine repair
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
Typical work hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am -4:00 pm, but must be able to work overtime and Saturdays upon request.
Machinist Qualifications/Skills:
- Please only apply if you're a conventional machinist
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in math is a plus
- Desire and ability to work overtime is a huge plus.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Experience in job shop preferred
Qualified candidates receive an hourly rate of $40 per hour. Benefits include sick pay, vacation pay, medical and dental benefits, as well as optional life insurance and retirement benefits.
