Job Title: Entry-Level Supply Chain Clerk


Job Summary

The Entry-Level Supply Chain Clerk supports critical supply chain operations within a regulated biopharmaceutical environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, supporting material flow, and maintaining compliant documentation in alignment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and motivated to build a career in supply chain operations within the life sciences industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming raw materials, clinical supplies, and finished goods
  • Maintain real-time inventory accuracy within ERP or inventory management systems
  • Assist with order fulfillment, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping of materials
  • Ensure all activities comply with GMP, SOPs, and company quality standards
  • Complete and maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements (FDA, internal audits)
  • Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to support production timelines
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations
  • Properly label, store, and handle materials, including temperature-sensitive or controlled products
  • Support cold chain logistics and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, or related field)
  • 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics (biotech/pharma experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records in a regulated environment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data entry systems
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other regulated environments
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or material handling
  • Exposure to cold chain or temperature-controlled logistics


Work Environment

  • Regulated biopharmaceutical or life sciences setting
  • Work may involve cold storage areas (refrigerated or freezer environments)
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
  • Fast-paced, compliance-driven environment supporting production and distribution
