Personal Fitness Trainer

Job DescriptionOur fitness studio is growing quickly, and we need a personal trainer to help our customers achieve their fitness goals. You'll be assessing our customers' fitness levels, creating personalized training routines, and ensuring they're utilizing equipment properly. This role requires outstanding customer service skills as well as a love for exercise and helping others improve their health and wellness. $22 - $27 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Perform personal fitness assessments to ensure that all exercise routines are appropriate for each client
• Track and adjust client progress and make changes to fitness plans accordingly
• Customize training routines to assist clients in achieving their fitness goals while staying within their current physical capabilities
• Uphold all gym standards and safety rules to keep clients safe and comfortable while they workout
• Decrease the chance of injury by teaching clients appropriate techniques for all exercises, especially for specialized equipment

Qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• This role requires fitness instructor or personal trainer certification
