Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, you will review customer requirements and documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with company standards. You will communicate scheduling and delivery commitments between customers and various internal departments, including production, planning, shipping, quality, and sales. Additionally, you will provide customers with lead times, shipment updates, and documentation support, while maintaining accurate customer records within company systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review and resolve customer concerns, discrepancies, shipping issues, and order-related problems professionally.
  • Create and process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) in accordance with company procedures.
  • Process customer orders with precision.
  • Address missing documentation and coordinate with internal departments and customers to obtain required information.
  • Troubleshoot order-related errors and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support internal teams by ensuring customer expectations and contractual requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, aerospace industry standards, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in departmental process improvement initiatives and support company goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with expediting and RMA processes.
  • Familiarity with order entry and planning.
  • Basic Excel skills for handling open order reports.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Glendale, CA, operating from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The office setting is on a large campus featuring nice buildings and spacious desk areas, providing a comfortable work environment. There are break rooms and outdoor areas available for taking breaks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
