Key Qualities & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to employment)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
  • Previous experience in school settings, pediatrics, or teletherapy preferred
  • Strong clinical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive care and effective collaboration with multicultural communities
  • Open to supporting or mentoring SLP-CFY candidates

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms, if applicable, to meet students’ needs virtually
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
  • Engage with families, caregivers, teachers, and support staff to foster student success
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

Compensation for this contract role ranges from $50–$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
