We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Diesel Mechanic to provide expert onsite repair and maintenance services for a variety of heavy-duty vehicles including Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo, and Peterbilt. This role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you will operate independently, responding to both scheduled maintenance and emergency calls around the clock. Responsibilities
- Perform on-site repairs and maintenance for heavy-duty vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Conduct thorough DOT inspections and ensure compliance
- Provide tire services including repair and replacement
- Respond promptly to emergency repair calls
- Document all repairs and inspections accurately
- Maintain vehicles to ensure operational safety and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as a diesel mechanic
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines consistently
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with diesel engine repair and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance
- Proficiency in mechanical diagnostics and tire services
- Strong time management skills
- Customer service experience
