Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong technical foundation to lead a growing sales team and drive revenue across the geospatial, surveying, and precision positioning markets.

The ideal candidate has experience selling GNSS positioning solutions, RTK systems, geospatial mapping technologies, or related spatial data platforms, and understands how to build distributor networks and strategic partnerships within industries such as surveying, infrastructure, construction, and robotics.

This role will lead sales strategy, manage distributor and partner relationships, negotiate contracts, and expand HYFIX’s presence in the surveying and mapping technology market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business through direct sales and partner channels, while acting as a player-coach—closing deals and building a high-performing sales team.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the geospatial, surveying, and precision positioning markets.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound outreach, inbound leads, and partner channels.
  • Drive sales of GNSS positioning solutions, RTK correction services, and geospatial mapping technologies across industries such as surveying, construction, infrastructure, robotics, and geospatial services.
  • Build and expand distributor, reseller, and partner networks to support market growth and international expansion.
  • Manage key distributor and partner relationships to ensure alignment with company strategy and revenue goals.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand needs, present solutions, and close deals.
  • Lead contract negotiations with partners and customers, ensuring favorable commercial and operational terms.
  • Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to identify market opportunities and strengthen HYFIX’s position in the market.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales talent as the organization grows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years managing and growing a sales team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage distributor and partner networks.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex contracts and strategic agreements.
  • Comfortable with approximately 30% travel for partner and client engagement.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‐building abilities.

Must Have Industry Experience

Experience selling technologies within the geospatial, surveying, and mapping industry, including solutions such as:

  • GNSS positioning systems
  • RTK / PPK correction services
  • Geospatial mapping platforms
  • LiDAR or photogrammetry technologies
  • UAV / drone mapping solutions
  • GIS (Geographic Information Systems) platforms
  • Precision positioning or spatial data solutions
