Job Summary: PET Technologist
\n
Education & Experience:
\n
- \n
- Must meet Federal, State, and local guidelines for education and experience.
- Current ARRT & Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification.
- Valid California Nuclear Medicine license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PET Technologist (preferred).
- Current First Aid & BLS certification.
- Ability to provide two professional references.

Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Explain procedures to patients and prepare/administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Capture high-quality images and maintain patient records.
- Operate and maintain equipment; adhere to safety regulations.
- Perform phlebotomies, IV starts, and administer radionuclide doses.
- Participate in meetings, continuing education, and stay updated on technology.
- Ensure timely completion of Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Coordinate patient care and maintain necessary supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality and composure under pressure.
