Job Summary: PET Technologist

\n

Education & Experience:

\n

\n
• Must meet Federal, State, and local guidelines for education and experience.

\n

• Current ARRT & Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification.

\n

• Valid California Nuclear Medicine license.

\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PET Technologist (preferred).

\n

• Current First Aid & BLS certification.

\n

• Ability to provide two professional references.

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare/administer radiopharmaceuticals.

\n

• Capture high-quality images and maintain patient records.

\n

• Operate and maintain equipment; adhere to safety regulations.

\n

• Perform phlebotomies, IV starts, and administer radionuclide doses.

\n

• Participate in meetings, continuing education, and stay updated on technology.

\n

• Ensure timely completion of Nuclear Medicine procedures.

\n

• Coordinate patient care and maintain necessary supplies.

\n

• Maintain confidentiality and composure under pressure.

\n
