What you’ll tackle
- Set up and run manual equipment: Bridgeport mills and conventional lathes
- Translate blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions into efficient setups
- Execute turning, milling, drilling, and tapping operations to exacting standards
- Measure and verify parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Hold tight tolerances while maintaining consistent quality
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on machines and workspace
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize parameters to improve outcomes
- Collaborate with engineers, peers, and supervisors to elevate processes
You bring
- 3+ years of manual machining experience (or equivalent)
- Hands-on proficiency with Bridgeport mills and conventional lathes
- Skill in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and material behavior
- Comfort with precision inspection tools
- Detail orientation and a quality-first approach
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
Bonus points
- ProtoTRAK mill experience
- Prototype or low-volume production background
- Basic CNC know-how
