Looking for An Onsite Staffing Manager who will coordinate and manage a large contingent workforce (like temporary or seasonal employees) directly from a client’s facility. They act as the primary liaison between the client's management team and the staffing agency to ensure daily operations, hiring needs, and production goals are met.
Core Responsibilities
- Workforce Operations & Scheduling: Oversee daily attendance, shift coverage, and immediately fill open roles or absences to maintain production requirements.
- Recruiting & Onboarding: Source, interview, and onboard new temporary employees while conducting facility orientations and safety training.
- Client Relations: Partner closely with client leadership to anticipate staffing demands, participate in service reviews, and adapt to changing production cycles.
- Employee Relations & Retention: Act as the primary point of contact for the contingent workers. Handle performance management, conflict resolution, and coaching.
- Payroll & Compliance: Maintain accurate timekeeping records, process payroll, and ensure workers adhere to labor laws and site safety policies.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in staffing, HR, recruiting, or operations—preferably in fast-paced, high-volume industries like warehousing or manufacturing.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the workforce and management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong multitasking abilities with a knack for quick, calm decision-making under pressure.
- Organization: Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), timekeeping software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
