We are seeking an experienced Make-Ready Technician / Apartment Maintenance Handyman to join a well-established 141-unit apartment community in South Los Angeles. This position is ideal for a dependable maintenance professional who has hands-on experience preparing apartment units for new residents and performing routine property maintenance.

Essential Job Functions

· Prepare vacant apartment units ("make-readies") for occupancy

· Perform light interior and exterior painting

· Complete basic drywall repairs and patchwork

· Troubleshoot and perform minor electrical repairs

· Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, disposals, and fixture replacements

· Replace hardware, locks, blinds, and other apartment fixtures

· Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the property

· Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner

· Maintain clean and organized work areas

· Assist with general property upkeep and curb appeal

· Follow company procedures, safety standards, and supervisor instructions

· Participate in occasional after-hours or on-call maintenance emergencies as needed
