Job Summary
We are seeking a mission-driven and compassionate Housing Navigator for a nonprofit charitable organization. This role is ideal for a client-focused professional who is passionate about helping residents access housing resources, social services, benefits, and community support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing resident needs and connecting individuals to housing support, social services, benefits, healthcare, and community-based resources.
- Coordinating referrals and follow-up services with internal departments, service providers, community organizations, and public agencies.
- Facilitating resident meetings, community programs, workshops, and service coordination activities.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, tracking resident outcomes, and supporting reporting, compliance, and case coordination requirements.
- Building positive, trust-based relationships with residents, families, community groups, and service partners.
- Supporting conflict resolution, crisis response, and problem-solving efforts to promote housing stability and resident well-being.
Pay range: $21 to $24 per hour.
Job type: Direct hire.
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
