We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of fire alarm systems and be eager to learn, troubleshoot, install, and service fire alarm equipment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems.
- Assist with system upgrades and new installations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable fire codes and safety standards.
- Complete service reports and required documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems is required.
- Experience with fire alarm installation or service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders and in various environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
