Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated RN Intensive Care Unit nurse to provide specialized care within a single ICU unit. Reporting directly to the ICU Nurse Manager, this role operates on day shifts and involves critical patient monitoring, emergency response, and coordination with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
13 Week Contract with the option to extend
Shift: Days - 36 hours per week
Charting - Epic (Required)

Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition continuously
- Administer medications accurately and timely
- Manage ventilator settings and support respiratory care
- Respond swiftly in emergency situations
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients' families
- Coordinate care activities with multidisciplinary teams
- Implement infection control protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in critical care nursing
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Proficiency in critical care nursing skills, including patient assessment and ventilator management
- Experience with IV therapy and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong team collaboration, communication, and stress management skills
