Key Qualifications:
- Active California CTC teaching licensure (required)
- Previous experience teaching upper elementary or middle school students preferred
- Strong background in ELA and History curriculum development and instruction
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and district standards in ELA and History for 5th and 6th graders
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school staff, and families to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress effectively
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and productive classroom culture
This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week from August 5, 2026, through June 3, 2027. You can expect a highly competitive pay rate of $40-50 per hour, with prompt weekly pay.
