Pico Mesivta HS in West Los Angeles is re-opening this fall and needs teachers for the 9th grade (and possibly for the 10th grade).
PM is an Orthodox Jewish boys school, with secular classes Monday-Thursday, from 1:15-5:30.
It's an excellent setting for professionals who are teaching elsewhere earlier in the day ... or who can work these hours around other commitments.
We need staff for STEM, Algebra I and II, geometry, English, biology, history, and gov-econ -- with preference for teachers who can cover a wide range of courses.
There are 5 classes every day, each 40-45 minutes long.
5-10 students/class.
Salaries are competitive.
