Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide speech-language pathology treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings within an acute care environment
- Evaluate and treat patients across a range of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Document patient care and progress using Meditech (Inpatient) and Redoc (Outpatient) charting systems
- Participate in a structured facility, department, and floor orientation program including supervised buddy training prior to independent patient care
- Adhere to facility dress code standards appropriate to the assigned care setting

Required Qualifications\n

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of California
- Current BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Availability for some weekend coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

- Prior experience in an acute care or Level II Trauma hospital setting
- Familiarity with Meditech and/or Redoc electronic health record systems
