Job Description
UAV Systems | Senior Electrical Engineer
This role owns the electronics that make it possible for UAV systems to operate in real-world, high-stakes environments.
The objective here is to design, integrate, test, and field the core electrical systems for autonomous aerial vehicles, taking hardware from prototype to operational deployment.
- Design embedded electronic systems for UAV platforms
- Own power architecture and distribution across air vehicle systems
- Integrate sensors, payloads, compute, and communications hardware
- Support system integration, debugging, and flight-test campaigns
- Work directly with mechanical, software, and autonomy engineers
- Take hardware from prototype builds to production-ready systems
Who are we looking for?
- Direct experience with UAV, aerospace, robotics, autonomous systems, or defense electronics
- Strong embedded hardware design capability (analog, digital, or mixed-signal)
- Proven ability to integrate complex systems into a functioning platform
- Hands-on debugging in lab and field environments
- Experience taking hardware beyond prototype stage
- Comfortable working in fast iteration cycles with incomplete information
Bonus expertise:
- Power electronics or battery systems
- RF communications, datalinks, or GNSS integration
- Flight test or field deployment experience
- Defense or high-reliability system background
What Success Looks Like
- Making the UAV electrically work in reality, not just on paper
- Closing integration gaps, resolve failures in flight, and pushing hardware from fragile prototype into something deployable and repeatable.
