Pay Range : DOE $20–$30 per hour
Job SummaryThe Production Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials, schedules, and production processes to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. This role involves coordinating between departments, managing inventory, and ensuring that production targets and deadlines are met.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
- Coordinate material supply and inventory levels to prevent production delays
- Work with production teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including materials used, production output, and quality metrics
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Track and report on production performance metrics, such as efficiency and output
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to implement process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in manufacturing, business, or logistics is a plus)
- Experience in production control, logistics, or supply chain management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel
- Ability to handle multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or ERP systems
- Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials management
