Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLCs diverse academic community.


The person in this position is responsible for designing and building automated processes keeping reproducibility, auditability, and traceability in for deployment, monitoring and operations. The duties include providing customized continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) solutions with are fully compliant with ITIL change, incident and configuration management processes. The duties will include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all DevOps servers and applications.

Position Requirements

Experience:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash,Ruby, and familiarity with at least one general-purpose programming language
  • DevOps Tools: Expertise in CI/CD tools, configuration management tools, container technologies, and cloud platforms
  • System Administration: Understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking concepts, and system management
  • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with major cloud providers like Azure, or GCP
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Knowledge of the entire software development process, including Agile methodologies
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong ability to collaborate with different teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Experience administration of Windows and Linux operating systems, VMWare ESXi deployment and operations experience.
  • Experience with GitLab and Microsoft Team Foundation
  • SAN technologies and applications

Education:

  • Associates degree (AA/AS) in Information Technology or related field OR High School Diploma with at least 2 years of hands-on IT support/supply experience.

Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent technical certification (imaging/desktop support)


Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.

Pay Rate

Salary range considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
