Quality Control Inspector – Medical Device Manufacturing

Responsible for inspecting medical devices and components to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Performs visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools, reviews production documentation, identifies defects or non-conforming materials, and maintains accurate inspection records. Works closely with production and quality teams to ensure products meet FDA, ISO, and customer requirements while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of medical device products.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Verify product specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Document inspection results and complete quality records accurately.
  • Identify, report, and segregate non-conforming materials.
  • Support quality investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience preferred.
  • Experience in medical device, manufacturing, or regulated environments a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, or GMP standards is preferred.
