Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, educational aide, or in a school support role
• Understanding of special education or working with both self-contained and mainstream settings
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet individual student needs
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours during the school week
• Comfortable learning and applying school protocols and supporting licensed teaching staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class and small-group support for students in self-contained environments
• Assist higher-functioning students by delivering targeted academic assistance
• Follow lesson plans and directions provided by teachers and specialists
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Help with daily tasks, behavior management, and documentation as needed

Compensation for this role is based on experience, ranging from $35-40 per hour.
