Job DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Spindle is partnering with a supportive school district in Avery, CA to hire a Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

Open to local and travel candidates. Weekly travel compensation packages and housing/meal stipends may be available for qualified educators accepting assignments away from their primary residence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction
• Develop and manage IEPs
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress

Qualifications:
• California Education Specialist Credential – ESN / Moderate/Severe

Pay & Benefits:
• $40-$55/hour, weekly W-2 pay
• Travel compensation packages available for qualifying candidates and vary by assignment
