Key Responsibilities
· Lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise IT solutions utilizing AI/ML, cloud platforms, data analytics, and data warehouse technologies.
· Lead system architecture efforts, including Large Language Model (LLM) evaluation, prompt integration, data modeling, data integration, and deployment strategies.
· Develop technical documentation, architecture standards, policies, best practices, and solution designs.
· Provide technical leadership and oversight for data warehouse initiatives, including ETL architecture, data pipelines, data modeling, and data governance.
· Review and approve architectural artifacts, system diagrams, integration patterns, and solution designs.
· Ensure all technology solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, cybersecurity requirements, and business objectives.
· Serve as a trusted technical advisor to project teams, business partners, leadership, and executive stakeholders.
· Validate application, system, and integration designs for scalability, resiliency, performance, and security.
· Collaborate with developers, engineers, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and enterprise architects.
· Provide mentorship and thought leadership around cloud-native architecture, microservices, containerization, APIs, and modern integration patterns.
· Support production issue resolution and high-priority incident investigations.
· Champion continuous improvement of architecture practices, technical processes, frameworks, and methodologies.
· Transfer knowledge and documentation to employees.
Required Qualifications
· 10+ years of enterprise architecture, data warehouse, data modeling, and advanced analytics experience.
· 3+ years designing architecture that integrate Generative AI into BI and Data Warehouse platforms.
· 5+ years of cloud architecture experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including Terraform.
· 5+ years leading cross-functional technical teams.
· 5+ years designing secure, scalable integration architectures involving APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and data integration.
Nice-to-Have Skills
· C# and/or Python
· Advanced SQL
· Snowflake or AWS Redshift
· Power BI dashboard development
· Enterprise-scale technical documentation experience
Work Environment
· Expected to work onsite in West Sacramento, CA.
· Initial term up to 24 months with the possibility of a 24-month extension.
· Approximately 160 hours per month.
